Climate Justice and Energy Conservation Workshop
with Dan Huntsha of Faith in Place
Sunday, June 24, 10:30am
Unitarian Church of Hinsdale, Joshi Chapel
17 W. Maple St., Hinsdale

The UCH Green Sanctuary Committee is sponsoring a free workshop presented by Dan Huntsha of Faith in Place to explore what climate justice is and how we can take action. Energy conservation is an easy and effective way to reduce our carbon footprint and decrease air pollution. With new technology, such as smart meters, there are many resources available to help individuals and faith communities maximize energy savings to care for our Earth. Faith in Place works to empower people of faith to understand how to use these tools to reduce their energy use and save money on their utility bills. To RSVP or for more information, send an email to UCHinsdaleGS@gmail.com .

Please Note:

We are going to change the collection date for the styrofoam collection from the second Sunday each month to the last Sunday of each month. Styrofoam can be brought to the RE lift on Feb.25. Foam is now taken to Western Springs on the first Saturday of the month to support their trial run.  All foam eventually gets taken to DART in Aurora. Thank you!

The Green Sanctuary Committee meets in the RE building on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm.  We always welcome new members or anybody interested in learning more about Green Sanctuary.  If you have any questions or would like to attend a meeting, you may contact us at UCHinsdaleGS@gmail.com.
