Sunday Worship 10:30am October 4, 2026 The Blessing of the Animals Join us in this multi-species, multi-generational service. All well-behaved humans and their willing companion animals are invited to attend. If your companion animal would prefer not to be in a crowd, you can bring a picture. Stuffed animals are also welcome! All are welcome to join Yappy Hour where there will be tasty treats for our companions and their humans! “Beneath the differences, there is sameness. Like us…animals embody the mystery and wonder of consciousness. Like us, they are not only in the world, they are aware of it. The Unitarian Church of Hinsdale (UCH) is an official Unitarian Universalist Association Welcoming Congregation. We believe each person has a share of the truth and we need one another to grow whole. We welcome young and old, families and singles, all the colors and cultures of the human race – gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and straight. Unitarian Universalism (UU)'s approach to belief is that spiritual and ethical values should fit individuals, rather than fitting everyone into the same religious mold. We have no single religious text or creed to which you must agree. Rather, we draw from the world’s wisdom traditions and the words and lives of women and men who have brought beauty, justice, tolerance, and freedom into being. |

The Social Justice Circle brings together multiple teams to ensure that we are coordinated, and to find opportunities for deepening connections. The Social Justice Circle teams include:

EngageMake a difference in your world. UCH offers many ways to connect, learn, share, grow, volunteer, and engage. Bring your passion and your gifts and we will find space for you to thrive.
In addition to the Sunday morning service, members and friends can also gather to study religion and religious history, morality and ethics. They might work to further a cleaner environment or provide help to one another, enjoy one another’s company and just have fun. Like in any organization, church life is enriched the more one participates. The following are some of the committees, events, workshops and programs that help shape this congregation. They are open to anyone interested.

Our Director of Religious Education, Pam Fodor, takes great care in preparing fun, captivating, classes, workshops, activities and worship services to help our our young people explore their Unitarian Universalist beliefs and values as they grow and mature.
