How to Participate
The Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale can benefit from you generosity and thoughtfulness in many ways. Here are some popular means of contributing to the fund:
Make Tax Free Gifts
Donations made to the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale Endowment Fund are fully tax-deductible. Certain limits may apply to very large gifts, depending on individual situations.
Transfer Appreciated Stock
If you own stock purchased or received at a lower price than its value today, giving that stock to the Endowment Fund will let you avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value.
Provide for the Endowment Fund in Your Will
Naming the Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale as a beneficiary of your estate will allow you to be remembered while enjoying income from your assets as long as you live.
Designate the Endowment Fund as a Beneficiary of Mutual Funds or IRAs
All or a percentage of such assets can be passed directly to the Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale by simply naming the fund as a beneficiary.

This is an easy way to increase your income, cut your taxes, and make a gift to the Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale—all at the same time! Simply make a gift of property or cash to the Endowment Fund. In turn, the Endowment Fund will provide you with guaranteed income for life. The amount you receive annually is based primarily of your age and the amount of the gift. A portion of the gift is tax deductible.
