Weddings, Rites of Passage, and Events
Our sanctuary, which seats 150 comfortably, offers an intimate, home-like ambiance for your wedding/union, child dedication, memorial service, or similar important event. The Richardsonian exterior, the simple Arts and Crafts style of the sanctuary, the excellent acoustics, a living room entry, and handicap access make it an especially appropriate setting for a variety of ceremonies, celebrations, concerts, lectures, and gatherings. We are equipped with a grand piano, computer projector, and flexible seating. There is a bride's dressing room, and a wedding coordinator to assist in your planning. A wedding is $500, plus $75 per hour for the liaison plus separate honoraria for the officiant and musician.

- You will then speak with our minister, Rev. Ed Searl, (ext. 111) to arrange to see our facilities and discuss the style of ceremony you desire.
- If both parties agree to the event, you will receive an application form (contract). You secure a reservation with a deposit and a completed contract form.
- One of our event liaisons will assist you with specifics of the contract and provide you with a list of resources including officiants, musicians, and services.
- UCH’s facilities are available for other events. We have smaller meeting rooms and a nursery, and a social hall with kitchen. As part of our historic commitment to serving the community, we make our facilities available for public meetings.
